The Boston Harbor Islands

USS Constitution 

Located conveniently at the Charlestown Navy Yard, the USS Constitution is a recognized hero icon of the War of 1812. If you are naturally curious and a budding history buff too, visiting historic sites in any city you visit is a tremendously good idea. The museum offers multiple exhibits, including “Old Ironsides War of 1812.”

New Balance Hubway

 Wonderfully close to the Lewis Wharf, the New England Aquarium, and the Fan Per is the New Balance Hubway, where you can rent bikes that you can then use to explore the rest of the city. You have the option of getting a 72-hour pass, a 24-hour pass, or a monthly membership so you can take your time (if you happen to be staying longer in the city). There are also walking tours and urban bike tours of Boston, so make sure you check those out if you are itching to discover what this great city has to offer.

Christopher Columbus Park 

The Christopher Columbus Park is one of the oldest public parks in the city, and is also one of the best parks for family fun. If you are looking for a great place for a picnic, the Christopher Columbus Park has plenty of spaces under the wisteria, and there’s also a large spray fountain where the kids can play. Overall a relaxing sanctuary in the city, it’s not a bad place to spend a few hours of your day before heading back to the hotel.

The Boston Children’s Museum

The Boston Children’s Museum has a ton of activities for both kids and their adult guardians.
